Physicians Pharmacy Alliance (PPA) is a private, non-retail specialty pharmacy in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.  Our focus is on patients with chronic, long-term disease states that have complex medication regimens.  PPA’s total pharmacy care has set a new standard and has allowed PPA to achieve an industry-leading accuracy rating of 99.992%.  PPA has established a solid working relationship with the North Carolina Medicaid Program and provides more Medicaid prescriptions than any other single pharmacy in North Carolina.

Medication Synchronization
The key to PPA’s ability to deliver the valuable services to our customers as well as deliver their medications free on a monthly basis is our Synchronization model.  Our state-of-the-art, proprietary Pharman™ system synchronizes a patient’s medication regimen and allows us to efficiently package and deliver all of their medications every month.  This process makes the management of medications much easier for our patients and lets them focus on compliance.

During this synchronization process prescriptions and medications are triple-checked by licensed pharmacists and technicians before being packaged for delivery. It is during this process that pharmacists contact any physicians to discuss questions or make recommendations on a patient’s medication regimen.
