PPA’s Adherence/Compliance Program As part of PPA’s compliance management, we offer a patent-pending reporting process called RxAware. This report is designed to keep both the patient and doctors informed of current medication levels, changes since their last appointment, and pharmacist consultations. It also provides a chronological history of events pertaining to each drug in a patient’s regimen, including dosage information, dosage changes and discontinued medications. RxAware reports are offered to medical providers as needed. Total Regimen Review & Proprietary Labeling Safety and accuracy are our main focus with medications. Each patient’s medications are subject to verification by two separate pharmacists. This two-pharmacist review process yields an industry leading, low error rate of 0.005%, where the industry average is 1 to 4 percent. Our verification process includes the “Right Pill / Right Bottle Verification” and the “Clinical Verification”. Part of PPA’s proprietary technology and processes include product labeling that identifies each medication with an easy to understand and easy-to-read label for patients. In addition, each vial, bottle, or box contains a proprietary Bottle Cap Label that places an identifying term on each package. These labels are printed with easy layman terms or abbreviations in large print on the bottle top to assist patients in identifying what each medication is likely used for.
