PPA’s Elite Pharmacist Team Ensures Accuracy Physicians Pharmacy Alliance offers senior-level, clinical pharmacists to answer medication questions. These pharmacists are available to patients and providers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. PPA Is There When Patients Need It Most Physicians Pharmacy Alliance dispenses medications and handles customer calls during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. PPA also has a Patient Care representative available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Exceptional Patient Communication Helps Everyone As described previously, physicians or patients can request an RxAware report prior to office visits. In addition, with each monthly delivery we provide our exclusive RxCard which includes all current and as-needed medications along with doses per day and the prescribing physician. It also includes allergy info, emergency contacts, a list of known disease states, the patient's address, and the patient's phone number. PPA phone numbers and fax numbers are also listed. The card can be folded to fit in a wallet and is a useful tool for emergency situations and for prescriber visits. The RxCard is automatically updated with each monthly delivery. A medication summary is also provided at delivery which includes currently dispensed medication information (warnings and cautions, why prescribed, possible side effects, possible uses, storage, and if dose missed information), a picture of each medication, a written description of each medication, and the current directions for the patient.
